About Me

I studied CIS and Graphic Design at Missouri State University for about two years before leaving their degree program to found my first company.

While running that digital marketing company from 1999 to 2008, I lead a team that delivered web based software solutions to clients primarily in Chicago and Southwest Missouri.

I am the Director of Technology at Marlin, a Springfield, MO based marketing agency that specializes in b2b marketing and communications services. Over the past 30 years Marlin has become an industry leader in foodservice marketing and serves global food manufacturers as they locate and cultivate relationships with thier customers.

I have worked with Marlin since 2011 to add a technology services capability to the Marlin company. Which, in 4 years, has grown to serve software and digital marketing services to companies like Starbucks, Unilever, Bush’s Beans, Chobani, Sweet Street, Frito-Lay, Splenda, Reckitt Benckiser / French’s Food Company, Tyson / Cobb-Vantress  and other terrific clients.

Marlin was acquired by Advantage Solutions in late 2016

Giving Back

Also, I serve as a member of the Foundation for Springfield Public Schools board since 2012 where we work to raise funds for projects that support education in the Springfield public school system each year.

I began serving on the Springfield Creatives professional association board in 2016 and hope to offer what I can to help this vital organization thrive and permeate the area government, business and non-profit community.

In the past I thoroughly enjoyed my service as member of the board of the Watershed Committee of the Ozarks for 2013, ’14 and ’15. This is a worthwhile organization if you would like to donate to a wholesome effort that is healthy for everyone, down to the basic and critical need of clean water for life.

Love this stuff…

I play with Arduino and Raspberry Pi robotics stuff, build and hack code, ride moto and pedal cycles, and I in other spare time help on internet projects for businesses, professionals and organizations.
